Statute and internal rules

Key principles of the current Statute
- VELVET is a non-recognised, non-profit recreational and cultural association governed by Articles 36 et seq. of the Italian Civil Code.
- Association activities are reserved to duly admitted adult members; guests, provisional, temporary or trial members are not provided for.
- Admission is decided by the Administrative Body after the membership application and the required association checks.
- The Administrative Body is monocratic and is constituted by the President; the Statute also provides for a Vice-President and a Secretary-Treasurer.
- Members have association voting and participation rights according to the Statute, while access to individual activities may be regulated for capacity, safety, privacy, balance of attendance, dress code or reservation requirements.
- Association contributions for activities and events may differ according to the organisational formula and costs and are requested only from duly admitted members.
- The Statute regulates voluntary member collaboration, paid work relationships, internal documents, discipline, dissolution and protection of privacy, consent and association life.
